The Declarant plugin

Use The Declarant's EU customs intelligence from ChatGPT or Codex. The plugin is read-only and works with your signed-in Declarant account.

What you can ask

• Find likely EU HS, CN and TARIC codes from a product description.
• Estimate customs duty, additional duties, CBAM cost, import VAT and total landed cost for an import into an EU member state.
• Check preferential-origin rules and the proof of origin required.
• Review active tariff-change alerts for your account and trade lanes.
• Check your Declarant plan and monthly calculation allowance.

What the plugin cannot do

It cannot file a customs declaration, contact an authority, send a message, make a payment, change account data or dismiss an alert. It provides decision support and does not replace a customs ruling, broker or qualified human review.

Connection and privacy

The plugin uses OAuth through Clerk. Each request is limited to the signed-in Declarant account. The user's OAuth token is verified by the connector and is not passed to the TradeShield application API. Read the privacy notice for the data processed by each tool and the terms of use before connecting.

Example requests

• Find likely EU commodity codes for aluminium sheet.
• Estimate the landed cost of HS 7601208000 from Turkey into Germany, with a goods value of EUR 10,000 and a gross weight of 1,000 kg.
• Check the preferential-origin rule for HS 8708299000 from the United Kingdom into the EU.

If the connection fails or a result looks wrong, contact hello@orcavera.com. Include the tool you used and the inputs you provided, but never send an OAuth token, password or other authentication secret.
